(Chapter 305A)

Variation of the Singapore Totalisator Scheme

Pursuant to section 11(5) of the Singapore Totalisator Board Act, it is hereby notified for general information that the Singapore Totalisator Board has, with the approval of the Minister for Finance, varied the Singapore Totalisator Scheme, with effect from 29th April 2004, in the manner set out in paragraph 2.

2. Part III of the Schedule to the Singapore Totalisator Scheme (Sch 1) is varied —

(a)

by deleting paragraph 12.6 and substituting the following paragraph:

“12.6 In the event of one or more of the winning combinations being unbacked, the net pool shall be divided equally by those that are backed and, in the event that all winning combinations are unbacked, the net pool shall be carried forward as a jackpot to the next pool unless otherwise decided by the Board.”; and

(b)

by deleting the words “Pay 1st, 2nd and 3rd in any order in 1st leg and ignore 2nd leg or, if” under the heading “Unbacked” in the item relating to “DOUBLE TRIO” under the heading “ Pool” in the DIVIDEND CALCULATION ILLUSTRATION table and substituting the word “If”.
