In exercise of the powers conferred by section 411 of the Companies Act, the Minister for Finance hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Companies (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2002 and shall come into operation on 1st July 2002.

Amendment of regulation 7

2. Regulation 7 of the Companies Regulations (Rg 1) is amended by deleting paragraphs (1), (2), (3) and (5).

Amendment of regulation 8

3. Regulation 8 of the Companies Regulations is amended by deleting paragraph (1).

Deletion of regulations 9 and 18 to 25

4. The Companies Regulations are amended by deleting regulations 9 and 18 to 25.

Amendment of First Schedule

5. The First Schedule to the Companies Regulations is amended —

(a)	by deleting the items relating to sections 106C (g), 106I (1), 106I (2), 106E (2) (b) (ii), 115 (1) and 116 (1); and
(b)	by deleting the words “45 (1)(h), 50 (2) (b) and (d), 109 (3), 213 (8) (a),” in the first column of the last item.

Amendment of Second Schedule

6. The Second Schedule to the Companies Regulations is amended —

(a)	by deleting Forms 30A to 30D, 31 and 32; and
(b)	by deleting the words “50 (2) (b) and (d), 45 (1) (h), 109 (3), 213 (8) (a),” in the 3rd and 4th lines of Form 94. [G.N. Nos S 445/93; S 2/96; S 245/97; S 561/98; S 27/2001; S 314/2001; S27/2002]
