(Public Utilities Board — Exemption)
(Amendment) Order 2025
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 66 of the Active Mobility Act 2017, the Minister for Transport makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Order is the Active Mobility (Public Utilities Board — Exemption) (Amendment) Order 2025 and comes into operation on 17 January 2025.
Amendment of paragraph 1
2.  In the Active Mobility (Public Utilities Board — Exemption) Order 2021 (G.N. No. S 26/2021) (called in this Order the principal Order), in paragraph 1(2), replace “4 years” with “8 years”.
Amendment of paragraph 2
3.  In the principal Order, in paragraph 2 —
(a)delete the definition of “specified footpath”;
(b)after the definition of “specified motor vehicle”, insert —
“ “specified path” means any footpath or shared path delineated by a black‑coloured line, or within shaded areas bounded by black‑coloured lines, in the maps set out in the Schedule;”;
(c)in the definition of “specified purpose”, in paragraph (e), replace the semi‑colon at the end with a full‑stop; and
(d)delete the definition of “specified shared path”.
Amendment of paragraph 3
4.  In the principal Order, in paragraph 3 —
(a)replace “specified footpath or specified shared path” wherever it appears with “specified path”; and
(b)in sub-paragraph (d)(i) and (ii), delete “or any passenger”.
Amendment of Schedule
5.  In the principal Order, in the Schedule —
(a)in part 1, delete the Part heading;
(b)in the heading above Map 1, replace “FOOTPATHS” with “PATHS”;
(c)replace Map 2 with —

(e)delete Part 2.
