Control of Manufacture Act (Amendment of First Schedule) Order 1998

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 13 of the Control of Manufacture Act, the Minister for Trade and Industry hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Control of Manufacture Act (Amendment of First Schedule) Order 1998 and shall come into operation on 17th April 1998.

Amendment of First Schedule

2. The First Schedule to the Control of Manufacture Act is amended by inserting, immediately after item 10, the following items:

“11.	CD (compact disc), CD-ROM (compact disc-read only memory), VCD (video compact disc).

12.	DVD (digital video disc), DVD-ROM (digital video disc-read only memory).”.

Made this 17th day of April 1998.
