Employment of Foreign Manpower
(Levy) (Amendment) Order 2015

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 11(1) of the Employment of Foreign Manpower Act, the Minister for Manpower makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Employment of Foreign Manpower (Levy) (Amendment) Order 2015 and, with the exception of paragraph 4, comes into operation on 1 May 2015.

(2) Paragraph 4 comes into operation on 1 July 2015.

Amendment of paragraph 16

2. Paragraph 16 of the Employment of Foreign Manpower (Levy) Order 2011 (G.N. No. S 371/2011) (referred to in this Order as the principal Order) is amended —

(a)	by deleting “$120” in sub‑paragraph (1)(a) and substituting “$60”; and
(b)	by deleting the words “12 years” in sub‑paragraph (2)(c)(i) and substituting the words “16 years”.

Amendment of paragraph 19

3. Paragraph 19(1) of the principal Order is amended by deleting “$120” and substituting “$60”.

Amendment of Seventh Schedule

4. The Seventh Schedule to the principal Order is amended by deleting “$700” in the second column of item 4 and substituting “$600”.
