Variation of Responsibility of Minister for the Environment
It is hereby notified for general information that, in pursuance of Article 30 of the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore, the Prime Minister has varied, with effect from 16th May 2003, the Schedule to the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Responsibility of the Minister for the Environment) Notification 2001 (G. N. No. S 637/2001) by deleting the following words under the heading “Subjects”:
Environmental Public Health:
 
Abatement of Insanitary Conditions and Public Health Nuisances.
 
Burials, Cremations and Exhumations.
 
Regulation of Retail Food Establishments and Catering Establishments.
 
Licensing and Control of Public Swimming Pools, Funeral Parlours, Food Establishments, Offensive Trades, Hawkers, Markets and Food Centres.

and substituting the following words:
