Endangered Species (Import and Export) Act (Amendment of First Schedule) Notification 2003

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 23 of the Endangered Species (Import and Export) Act, the Minister for National Development hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Endangered Species (Import and Export) Act (Amendment of First Schedule) Notification 2003 and shall come into operation on 28th May 2003.

Amendment of First Schedule

2. Part II of the First Schedule to the Endangered Species (Import and Export) Act is amended by inserting, immediately below the item “Pelomedusidae” under “ REPTILIA”, the following item:

SAURIA

Gekkonidae

Hoplodactylus spp.

New Zealand Geckos

New Zealand

Naultinus spp.

New Zealand Geckos

New Zealand

”.
