Rapid Transit System (Lrt) Fares

It is hereby notified for general information that, under section 20(1) of the Public Transport Council Act, the Public Transport Council has approved, with effect from 1st December 2000, the following amendments to the Rapid Transit System (LRT) Fares (G.N. No. S 488/99).

2. The Rapid Transit System (LRT) Fares Notification is amended —

(a)

by inserting, immediately after paragraph 2, the following paragraph:

“3.The maximum fares payable under Parts I and II of the Schedule are subject to the transfer rebates set out in the Bus, MRT and LRT (Transfer Rebates) Notification (G.N. No. S 254/2000).”; and

(b)

by deleting Part I of the Schedule and substituting the following Part:

“Part I

Number of stations

Adult fare per ride

Single Trip Ticket

Stored Value Farecard

(1) 1 to 5 stations

80 cents

60 cents

(2) 6 to 7 stations

90 cents

70 cents

(3) 8 to 9 stations

$1.00

80 cents.
