(Amendment) Order 2024
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 2(2) of the International Organisations (Immunities and Privileges) Act 1948, the President makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1.—(1)  This Order is the International Organisations (Immunities and Privileges) (World Meteorological Organization) (Amendment) Order 2024 and, except for paragraphs 2 and 3(a), (b) and (c), comes into operation on 1 April 2024.
(2)  Paragraphs 2 and 3(a), (b) and (c) are deemed to have come into operation on 31 December 2021.
Amendment of paragraph 4
2.  In the International Organisations (Immunities and Privileges) (World Meteorological Organization) Order 2018 (G.N. No. S 552/2018), in paragraph 4(5)(d), replace “(Cap. 312)” with “1929”.
Amendment of paragraph 5
3.  In the International Organisations (Immunities and Privileges) (World Meteorological Organization) Order 2018, in paragraph 5(3) —
(a)in sub‑paragraph (d), after “Stamp Duties Act”, insert “1929”;
(b)in sub‑paragraph (e)(iii), replace “(Cap. 276)” with “1961”;
(c)in sub‑paragraph (e)(v), replace “(Cap. 70)” with “1960”; and
(d)in sub‑paragraph (f), replace “Statutory Boards (Taxable Services) Order (Cap. 318, O 1)” with “Public Utilities (Water Conservation Tax) Order 2024 (G.N. No. S 255/2024)”.
