Central Provident Fund Act
(Amendment of Third Schedule) Notification 2000

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 13A of the Central Provident Fund Act, the Minister for Manpower hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1.—(1) This Notification may be cited as the Central Provident Fund Act (Amendment of Third Schedule) Notification 2000.

(2) Paragraph 2(a) of this Notification shall be deemed to have come into operation on 18th February 1994.

(3) Paragraph 2(b) of this Notification shall be deemed to have come into operation on 1st September 1998.

(4) Paragraph 2(c) of this Notification shall be deemed to have come into operation on 10th December 1999.

Amendment of Third Schedule

2. The Third Schedule to the Central Provident Fund Act is amended —

(a)

by inserting, immediately after item 6, the following item:

“6A.Control of Plants Act (Cap. 57A).”;

(b)

by inserting, immediately after item 6A, the following item:

“6B.Control of Vectors and Pesticides Act (Cap. 59).”; and

(c)

by inserting, immediately after item 37, the following item:

“38.Wholesome Meat and Fish Act 1999 (Act 5 of 1999).”.
