(Amendment) Rules 2022

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 13(15) of the Administration of Justice (Protection) Act 2016, the Minister for Law makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules are the Administration of Justice (Protection) (Non‑Publication Directions) (Amendment) Rules 2022 and come into operation on 1 April 2022.

Miscellaneous amendments

2. The Administration of Justice (Protection) (Non‑Publication Directions) Rules 2017 (G.N. No. S 542/2017) are amended —

(a)

by deleting the word “leave” in the following provisions and substituting in each case the word “permission”:

Rule 7(1) and (2)(a) and (b)

The Schedule, Form 1; and

(b)

by deleting the words “E. Leave of court” in the following provision and substituting the words “E. Permission of court”:

The Schedule, Form 1.
