Central Provident Fund (Amendment)
Rules 2003

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 77(2) of the Central Provident Fund Act, the Central Provident Fund Board hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Central Provident Fund (Amendment) Rules 2003 and shall come into operation on 1st June 2003.

Amendment of rule 7

2. Rule 7 of the Central Provident Fund Rules (R 3) (referred to in these Rules as the principal Rules) is amended by deleting the rule heading and substituting the following rule heading:

“Amendment of Payment Advice”.

Amendment of rule 25

3. Rule 25 of the principal Rules is amended by deleting the words “rule 4, 5, 6, 7 or 11” and substituting the words “these Rules”.

Amendment of rule 26

4. Rule 26 of the principal Rules is amended by deleting the words “rule 4, 5, 6, 7 or 10” and substituting the words “these Rules”.
