Business Registration Act
(Chapter 32)
Business Registration (Amendment) Regulations 2000
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 32 of the Business Registration Act, the Minister for Finance hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Business Registration (Amendment) Regulations 2000 and shall come into operation on 1st April 2000.
Amendment of Schedule
2.  The Schedule to the Business Registration Regulations (Rg 1) is amended —
(a)by deleting paragraphs (2) and (3) and substituting the following paragraphs:
“
(2) For registration of a statement of particulars furnished under section 9(1) of the Act and the issue of a certificate of registration under section 9(2) of the Act
$100.
(3) For renewal of a certificate of registration under section 9(3) of the Act —
 
(a) where payment is made by interbank GIRO or such other electronic means as the Registrar may allow
$75.
(b) where payment is made by NETS or cashcard
$90.
(c) where payment is made by cash, cheque, money order or postal order
$105.
”; and
(b)by inserting, immediately after sub-paragraph (a) of paragraph (7), the following sub-paragraph:
“
(aa) a statement of particulars in an application for registration
$5 per copy.
”.
