Prisons (Declaration of Prisons) Notification 2009
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Prisons Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Notification may be cited as the Prisons (Declaration of Prisons) Notification 2009 and shall come into operation on 10th June 2009.
Declaration of prisons
2.  The Minister hereby declares the places set out in the Schedule to be prisons for the purposes of the Act and defines those places to be prisons for the custody of all classes of prisoners convicted, remanded or detained under any written law.

Made this 8th day of June 2009.
