Appointment of Persons to Grant Licences

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 73(1) of the Police Force Act, the Minister for Home Affairs has appointed, with effect from 19th April 2000 —

(a)	the Assistant Director Operations (Licensing), Licensing Division, Police Headquarters; and
(b)	the Operations Officer, Licensing and the Officer-in-charge General Licensing Unit, Licensing Division, Police Headquarters,

to grant licences under —

(i)	the House to House and Street Collections Act (Cap. 128) in addition to the Commissioner of Police; and
(ii)	the Secondhand Dealers Act (Cap. 288) in addition to the Deputy Commissioner of Police.

2. Notification N 2 is cancelled.
