Central Provident Fund (Medishield Scheme)
(Amendment No. 2) Regulations 1998

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 57 of the Central Provident Fund Act, the Minister for Manpower hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Central Provident Fund (MediShield Scheme) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 1998 and shall come into operation on 1st May 1998.

Amendment of Third Schedule

2. The Third Schedule to the Central Provident Fund (MediShield Scheme) Regulations (Rg 20) is amended by inserting, immediately after the word “for” in the first column of item 9, the words “chronic renal failure or”.
