Banking (Credit Card and Charge Card) (Amendment) Regulations 2006

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 78(2) of the Banking Act, the Monetary Authority of Singapore hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Banking (Credit Card and Charge Card) (Amendment) Regulations 2006 and shall come into operation on 24th May 2006.

Amendment of regulation 5

2. Regulation 5 of the Banking (Credit Card and Charge Card) Regulations 2004 (G.N. No. S 27/2004) is amended —

(a)	by deleting the words “21 years” in paragraphs (1) and (2) and substituting in each case the words “18 years”;
(b)	by deleting the words “overseas study” in paragraphs (2), (3) and (5) and substituting in each case the words “overseas travel”; and
(c)	by deleting paragraph (7). [G.N. Nos. S 198/2004; S 439/2005]
