(Duties — Exemption)
(Amendment) Order 2023
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 13(1) of the Customs Act 1960, the Minister for Finance makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Order is the Customs (Duties — Exemption) (Amendment) Order 2023 and comes into operation on 5 May 2023.
Amendment of paragraph 2
2.  In the Customs (Duties — Exemption) Order 2021 (G.N. No. S 667/2021), in paragraph 2, after the definition of “export inspection station”, insert —
“ “international organisation” means an international organisation mentioned in section 2(1) of the International Organisations (Immunities and Privileges) Act 1948 except one specified in Part 2A of the Schedule;”.
Amendment of Schedule
3.  In the Customs (Duties — Exemption) Order 2021, in the Schedule —
(a)in Part 1, in item 3, in the first column, replace “Any organisation mentioned in section 2(1) of the International Organisations (Immunities and Privileges) Act (Cap. 145)” with “Any international organisation”;
(b)in Part 2, in item 3, in the first column, replace “Any organisation mentioned in section 2(1) of the International Organisations (Immunities and Privileges) Act” with “Any international organisation”; and
(c)after Part 2, insert —
Part 2A
excluded international organisations
1.  International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea”.
