Order 2022

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 83(1) of the Supreme Court of Judicature Act 1969, the Minister for Law, after consulting the Chief Justice, makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order is the Supreme Court of Judicature Act (Amendment of Seventh Schedule) Order 2022 and comes into operation on 1 April 2022 at 12.01 a.m.

Amendment of Seventh Schedule

2. In the Seventh Schedule to the Supreme Court of Judicature Act 1969, in paragraphs 2(c) and 4(c), replace “or to extend time for applying for such permission” wherever it appears with “an application to extend time for applying for such permission or an application for a declaration that such permission is not required”.
