Income Tax (Approved Banks) (Consolidation) (Amendment) Order 1997

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 13(9) of the Income Tax Act, the Minister for Finance hereby makes the following Order:

Citation

1. This Order may be cited as the Income Tax (Approved Banks) (Consolidation) (Amendment) Order 1997.

Amendment of Consolidation Order

2. The Income Tax (Approved Banks) (Consolidation) Order (O 32) is amended —

(a)

by deleting the words “Credit Suisse” and substituting the words “Credit Suisse First Boston”, with effect from 1st January 1997;

(b)

by deleting the words “CS First Boston (Singapore) Limited” and substituting the words “Credit Suisse First Boston (Singapore) Limited”, with effect from 3rd January 1997; and

(c)

by deleting the following words, with effect from 31st December 1996:

“S 118/76

Morgan Grenfell (Asia) Ltd.

1st October 1996.”.
