Building Control (Exemption from Independence of Structural Engineer) Notification 1997

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 29(5) of the Building Control Act, the Minister for National Development hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Building Control (Exemption from Independence of Structural Engineer) Notification 1997 and shall come into operation on 1st October 1997.

Exemption

2. Section 29(1) of the Act shall not apply to any building owned by the Jurong Town Corporation.
