Sanitary Plumbing and Drainage Systems (Amendment) Regulations 1996

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 71 of the Water Pollution Control and Drainage Act, the Minister for the Environment hereby makes the following Regulations:

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Sanitary Plumbing and Drainage Systems (Amendment) Regulations 1996 and shall come into operation on 1st July 1996.

2. The Sanitary Plumbing and Drainage Systems Regulations are amended by inserting, immediately after regulation 14, the following regulation:

“Change of address

14A.—(1) A permit holder shall notify the Director in writing of any change of his residential address within 7 days of such change.

(2) Where a permit holder who has changed his residential address makes a report of the change under section 8 of the National Registration Act [Cap. 201] within 7 days thereof, he shall be deemed to have complied with paragraph (1).
