Wholesome Meat and Fish (Exemption)
(Amendment) Notification 2019

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 40 of the Wholesome Meat and Fish Act, the Director‑General, Food Administration makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification is the Wholesome Meat and Fish (Exemption) (Amendment) Notification 2019 and comes into operation on 1 April 2019.

Amendment of First Schedule

2. The First Schedule to the Wholesome Meat and Fish (Exemption) Notification (N 1) is amended by deleting items 1 and 4.

Amendment of Second Schedule

3. The Second Schedule to the Wholesome Meat and Fish (Exemption) Notification is amended by deleting item 1 and substituting the following item:

1. (a)

Beef (chilled, frozen, processed or canned)

Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Hungary, Japan, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Sweden, Uruguay and USA

5 kilogrammes per person, provided that the total quantity of the products referred to in this item does not exceed 5 kilogrammes per person

(b)

Mutton (chilled, frozen, processed or canned)

Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Ireland, New Zealand, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Uruguay, United Kingdom and USA

(c)

Pork (chilled, frozen, processed or canned)

Australia, Austria, Canada, Chile, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom and USA

(d)

Poultry (chilled, frozen, processed or canned)

Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, New Zealand, Switzerland, The Netherlands and United Kingdom
