Children and Young Persons Act

(Chapter 38)

Places of Safety

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 27(b) of the Children and Young Persons Act, the Minister for Community Development has declared the following hospitals to be places of safety, with effect from 10th June 1997:

(1)	Alexandra Hospital;
(2)	New Changi Hospital;
(3)	Communicable Disease Centre;
(4)	KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital;
(5)	Singapore General Hospital;
(6)	Tan Tock Seng Hospital;
(7)	Woodbridge Hospital; and
(8)	National University Hospital.

2. Notification No. N 12 is cancelled.
