Companies (Amendment No. 3) Regulations 2004
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 411 of the Companies Act, the Minister for Finance hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Companies (Amendment No. 3) Regulations 2004 and shall come into operation on 1st June 2004.
Amendment of regulation 89A
2.  Regulation 89A of the Companies Regulations (Rg 1) is amended —
(a)by deleting the words “$2.5 million” and substituting the words “$5 million”; and
(b)by renumbering the regulation as paragraph (1) of that regulation, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following paragraph:
(2)  Notwithstanding paragraph (1), the prescribed amount for an exempt private company in respect of a financial year starting on or after 15th May 2003 but before 1st June 2004 shall be $2.5 million.”.
