Control of Plants (Composition of Offences) (Amendment) Rules 2004

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 47 of the Control of Plants Act, the Minister for National Development hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Control of Plants (Composition of Offences) (Amendment) Rules 2004 and shall come into operation on 1st June 2004.

Amendment of rule 2

2. Rule 2 of the Control of Plants (Composition of Offences) Rules (R 5) is amended —

(a)

by deleting the word “Director” and substituting the word “Director-General”;

(b)

by deleting the words “section 46” and substituting the words “section 47”;

(c)

by inserting, at the end of paragraph (a), the word “and”; and

(d)

by deleting paragraphs (b) to (e) and substituting the following paragraph:

“(b)	any offence under any rules made under the Act.”.
