Employment (Administrative Penalties)
(Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2019

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 139 of the Employment Act, the Minister for Manpower makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Employment (Administrative Penalties) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2019 and come into operation on 5 April 2019.

Amendment of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Employment (Administrative Penalties) Regulations 2016 (G.N. No. S 149/2016) is amended —

(a)	by deleting “$2,000” in the second column of item 8 and substituting “$1,000”;
(b)	by deleting “$1,000” in the third column of item 9 and substituting “$2,000”; and
(c)	by deleting “$1,000” in the third column of item 10 and substituting “$2,000”.
