Variation of Responsibility of Minister for Law

It is notified for general information that the Prime Minister has, under Article 30(1) of the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore, varied with effect from 4 April 2019, the Schedule to the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Responsibility of the Minister for Law) Notification 2015 (G.N. No. S 667/2015) by inserting, immediately below the words “Regulation of Moneylenders and Pawnbrokers” in item 6 under the heading “SUBJECTS”, the following words:

“Precious Stones and Precious Metals (Prevention of Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing) Act 2019 (Act 7 of 2019) subject matter”.

2. This Notification is the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Responsibility of the Minister for Law) (Amendment No. 2) Notification 2019.
