(Authorisation) (Amendment)
Notification 2022

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 2 of the Government Contracts Act 1966, the Minister for Finance makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification is the Government Contracts (Authorisation) (Amendment) Notification 2022 and comes into operation on 14 January 2022.

Amendment of First Schedule

2. The First Schedule to the Government Contracts (Authorisation) Notification 2019 (G.N. No. S 62/2019) is amended —

(a)

by inserting, immediately after Part 24, the following Part:

“PART 24A

JUDICIAL SERVICE COMMISSION SECRETARIAT

1.	Secretary, Judicial Service Commission

All contracts not exceeding $10 million.

Director

Contracts for goods, services and construction services not exceeding $500,000.

3.	Deputy Director

Contracts for goods, services and construction services not exceeding $200,000.

4.	Senior Assistant Director/ Assistant Director

Contracts for goods, services and construction services not exceeding $100,000.

”; and

(b)

by deleting item 1 of Part 25 and substituting the following item:

“1.	Secretary, Legal Service Commission

All contracts not exceeding $10 million.”.
