(National Library Board —
Exemption) (No. 5) Order 2022

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 40 of the Remote Gambling Act 2014, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Order:

Citation

1. This Order is the Remote Gambling (National Library Board — Exemption) (No. 5) Order 2022.

Definitions

2. In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires —

“draw” means the draw to be held as part of the promotion at National Library Building, 100 Victoria Street, Singapore 188064 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on 11 May 2022;

“organiser” means the National Library Board established by section 3 of the National Library Board Act 1995;

“promotion” means the promotion called “Mapping the World Exhibition: Giveaway Contest” that is to be made available from 8 April 2022 to 8 May 2022 (both dates inclusive) on the National Library Singapore (@NationalLibrarySG) Facebook and Instagram social media platforms maintained by the organiser;

“public accountant” has the meaning given by section 2(1) of the Accountants Act 2004.

Exemption

3.—(1) The organiser is exempt from sections 11, 13, 15 and 17 of the Act in respect of the promotion and the draw.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by the organiser with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
