Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Responsibility of the Minister for the Environment) (Amendment) Notification 2002
Variation of Responsibility of Minister for the Environment
It is hereby notified for general information that, in pursuance of Article 30 of the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore, the Prime Minister has varied, with effect from 1st July 2002, the Schedule to the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Responsibility of the Minister for the Environment) Notification 2001 (G.N. No. S 637/2001) —
(a)by deleting all the words under the heading “Departments/Statutory Bodies” and substituting the following words:
National Environment Agency.
Public Utilities Board.”;
(b)by deleting the subject “Environmental Health:” under the heading “Subjects” and substituting the subject “Environmental Public Health:”;
(c)by deleting the words “Food Safety.” under the subject “Environmental Public Health:” and substituting the words “Regulation of Retail Food Establishments and Catering Establishments.”;
(d)by deleting the words “Vector Control.” under the subject “Environmental Public Health:” and substituting the words “Vector and Pesticides Control.”; and
(e)by inserting, immediately above the subject “Water Related:”, the following subject:
Meteorological and Seismological Services.”.
Citation
2.  This Notification may be cited as the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Responsibility of the Minister for the Environment) (Amendment) Notification 2002.
