Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Responsibility of the Minister for National Development) (Amendment) Notification 2002

Variation of Responsibility of Minister for National Development

It is hereby notified for general information that, in pursuance of Article 30 of the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore, the Prime Minister has varied, with effect from 1st July 2002, the Schedule to the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Responsibility of the Minister for National Development) Notification 2001 (G.N. No. S 632/2001) —

(a)

by deleting the words “Agri-food and Veterinary Authority.” under the heading “Departments/Statutory Bodies” and substituting the words “Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority.”; and

(b)

by deleting the following words under the heading “Subjects”:

“Agri-food and Veterinary Services:

Food Safety and Supply.

Animal and Plant Health.

Food and Agriculture Industry Development.”,

and substituting the following words:

“Agri-Food and Veterinary Services:

Food Supply.

Food Safety and Labelling.

Regulation of Food Processing Establishments.

Animal and Plant Health.

Food and Agriculture Industry Development.”.

2. This Notification may be cited as the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Responsibility of the Minister for National Development) (Amendment) Notification 2002.
