Companies (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2001

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 411 of the Companies Act, the Minister for Finance hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Companies (Amendment No.2) Regulations 2001 and shall come into operation on 1st July 2001.

Amendment of regulation 42

2. Regulation 42 of the Companies Regulations (Rg 1) is amended by deleting the word “statutory”.

Amendment of regulation 43

3. Regulation 43 of the Companies Regulations is amended by deleting the word “statutory”.

Amendment of regulation 44

4. Regulation 44(1) of the Companies Regulations is amended —

(a)	by deleting the word “statutory”; and
(b)	by deleting the word “vouchers” in the 4th line and substituting the word “documents”.

Amendment of regulation 45

5. Regulation 45 of the Companies Regulations is amended by deleting the word “statutory”.

Deletion of regulation 46

6. Regulation 46 of the Companies Regulations is deleted.

Amendment of regulation 52

7. Regulation 52(1) of the Companies Regulations is amended by deleting the words “Form 78” in the 4th line and substituting the words “Form 77”.

Amendment of First Schedule

8. The First Schedule to the Companies Regulations is amended —

(a)

by deleting the word “Statutory” in the second column of the item relating to Section 327 and Regulations 42 and 44; and

(b)

by deleting the following item:

“327 and Regulation 50

Statutory Declaration as to Proof of Debt Employees’ Group Form

—”

and substituting the following item:

“327 and Regulation 52

Declaration as to Proof of Debt Employees’ Group Form

—”.

Amendment of Second Schedule

9. The Second Schedule to the Companies Regulations is amended —

(a)

by deleting Form 77 and substituting the following Form:

“

”; and

(b)

by deleting Form 78.
