Public Service (Special and Senior Personnel Boards) (Amendment) Order 2010

In exercise of the powers conferred by Article 110D(1) and (2) of the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore, the President, on the advice of the Prime Minister, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Public Service (Special and Senior Personnel Boards) (Amendment) Order 2010 and shall come into operation on 1st July 2010.

Amendment of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Public Service (Special and Senior Personnel Boards) Order (O 2) is amended —

(a)

by deleting paragraph (a) in the second column of item 2 and substituting the following paragraph:

“(a)	Timescale officers in any of the General Services holding posts in the Public Service Division, the National Security Co-ordination Secretariat, the National Research Foundation or the National Climate Change Secretariat.”;

(b)

by deleting paragraph (b) in the second column of item 3 and substituting the following paragraph:

“(b)

Timescale officers in any of the General Services holding posts in the Prime Minister’s Office (excluding the Public Service Division, the National Security Co-ordination Secretariat, the National Research Foundation and the National Climate Change Secretariat), the Cabinet Office, the Istana or Parliament.”;

(c)

by inserting, immediately after the name “Mrs Ow Foong Pheng” in the third column of item 2, the name “Mr Tan Yong Soon”;

(d)

by deleting the name “BG(NS) Choi Shing Kwok” in the third column of item 2 and substituting the name “Mr Choi Shing Kwok”; and

(e)

by deleting the name “Mr Tan Yong Soon” in the third column of item 4 and substituting the name “LG(NS) Desmond Kuek Bak Chye”.
