Newspaper and Printing Presses (Exemption) (No. 2) (Amendment) Order 2005

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 44 (1)(b)(ii) of the Newspaper and Printing Presses Act, the Minister for Information, Communications and the Arts hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Newspaper and Printing Presses (Exemption) (No. 2) (Amendment) Order 2005 and shall be deemed to have come into operation on 29th December 2004.

Amendment of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Newspaper and Printing Presses (Exemption) (No. 2) Order 2004 (G.N. No. S 507/2004) is amended —

(a)

by deleting the words “Kim Eng Securities Pte Ltd” in the second column of item 44 and substituting the words “Kim Eng Research Pte Ltd”; and

(b)

by inserting, immediately after item 107, the following items:
