(Exemption) (No. 25)
Notification 2012

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation

1. This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 25) Notification 2012.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister hereby exempts Singapore Press Holdings Limited (referred to in this Notification as “the organiser”) from the provisions of the Act in respect of the “Tap & Donate” promotion to be held from 19th July 2012 to 30th September 2012 (both dates inclusive) and the draws to be held at 2.30 p.m. at the Singapore Press Holdings News Centre at 100 Toa Payoh North, Singapore 318994, on each of the following dates:

(a)	31st July 2012;
(b)	7th August 2012;
(c)	14th August 2012;
(d)	21st August 2012;
(e)	28th August 2012;
(f)	4th September 2012;
(g)	11th September 2012;
(h)	18th September 2012;
(i)	25th September 2012;
(j)	2nd October 2012.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by the organiser with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
