Business Registration (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 1997

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 32 of the Business Registration Act, the Minister for Finance hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Business Registration (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 1997 and shall come into operation on 1st August 1997.

Amendment of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Business Registration Regulations (Rg 1) is amended by deleting paragraph (i) and substituting the following paragraph:

“(i)

For providing computer information service:

(i)	for supplying information concerning a business —

(A)	by electronic means

$3 for each business.

(B)	other than by electronic means

$5 for each business.

(ii)	for supplying general information on a person’s involvement in businesses —

(A)	by electronic means

$30 per person.

(B)	other than by electronic means

$30 per person.

(iii)

for supplying information in the form of a directory of businesses —

(A)	by electronic means

Free of charge.

(B)	other than by electronic means

Free of charge.

(iv)	for supplying general information by electronic means —

(A)	indexical information

$1 per block of
one minute or part
thereof.

(B)	statistical information

$10 per block of
one minute or part
thereof.
