Reciprocal Enforcement of Commonwealth Judgments (Extension) (Consolidation) (Amendment) Notification 1997

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the Reciprocal Enforcement of Commonwealth Judgments Act, the Minister for Law hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Reciprocal Enforcement of Commonwealth Judgments (Extension) (Consolidation) (Amendment) Notification 1997 and shall come into operation on 1st August 1997.

Amendment of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Reciprocal Enforcement of Commonwealth Judgments (Extension) (Consolidation) Notification (N 1) is amended by inserting, immediately after the word “Hongkong” in item (1), the words “(for judgments obtained on or before 30th June 1997)”.
