(Chapter 1)
Delegation of Powers (Ministry of Health) Notification 1999
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 36 of the Interpretation Act, the Minister for Health, hereby makes the following Notification:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Notification may be cited as the Delegation of Powers (Ministry of Health) Notification 1999 and shall be deemed to have come into operation on 16th August 1999.
Delegation of powers
2.  The Minister for Health, with the approval of the President, hereby deputes the Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Health, to exercise the powers of the Minister under —
(a)sections 2 and 8 of the Termination of Pregnancy Act (Cap. 324) and the Termination of Pregnancy Regulations (Cap. 324, Rg 1); and
(b)sections 2 and 6 of the Voluntary Sterilization Act (Cap. 347) and the Voluntary Sterilization Regulations (Cap. 347, Rg 1).
Cancellation
3.  The Delegation of Powers (Consolidation) Notification (N 6) is cancelled.
