| Delegation of Powers (Ministry of Home Affairs) Notification 2003 |

| Citation and commencement |
| 1. This Notification may be cited as the Delegation of Powers (Ministry of Home Affairs) Notification 2003 and shall come into operation on 24th July 2003. |
| Delegation of powers |
| 2. The Minister for Home Affairs, with the approval of the President, hereby deputes the Director of Prisons to exercise the powers of the Minister under section 42 (1), (2) and (3) of the Criminal Law (Temporary Provisions) Act (Cap. 67). |
| Amendment of Delegation of Powers (Ministry of Home Affairs) (Consolidation) Notification |
| 3. Item 2 in the Schedule to the Delegation of Powers (Ministry of Home Affairs) (Consolidation) Notification (N 8) is amended by deleting the words “Sections 33 (2) and 42 (2) and (3)” in paragraph (b) and substituting the words “Section 33 (2)”. |
