(Property of Deceased Seamen)
(Amendment) Regulations 2022
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 87(1) of the Merchant Shipping Act 1995, the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore, with the approval of the Minister for Transport, makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations are the Merchant Shipping (Property of Deceased Seamen) (Amendment) Regulations 2022 and come into operation on 5 May 2022.
Amendment of regulation 8
2.  Regulation 8(3) of the Merchant Shipping (Property of Deceased Seamen) Regulations (Rg 23) is amended by deleting the words “originating summons” and substituting the words “originating application”.
