Environmental Public Health (Composition of Offences) (Amendment) Rules 2008

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 104(3) of the Environmental Public Health Act, the National Environment Agency, with the approval of the Minister for the Environment and Water Resources, hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Environmental Public Health (Composition of Offences) (Amendment) Rules 2008 and shall come into operation on 1st August 2008.

Amendment of rule 2

2. Rule 2 of the Environmental Public Health (Composition of Offences) Rules (R 1) is amended —

(a)

by deleting the word “and” at the end of paragraph (h); and

(b)

by deleting the full-stop at the end of paragraph (i) and substituting the word “; and”, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following paragraph:

“(j)	any offence under the Environmental Public Health (Quality of Piped Drinking Water) Regulations 2008 (G.N. No. S 35/2008).”.
