Land Titles (Strata) (Amendment) Regulations 2002

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 130 of the Land Titles (Strata) Act, the Singapore Land Authority, with the approval of the Minister for Law, hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Land Titles (Strata) (Amendment) Regulations 2002 and shall come into operation on 2nd September 2002.

Amendment of regulation 13

2. Regulation 13 of the Land Titles (Strata) Regulations (Rg 1) is amended by deleting paragraph (4) and substituting the following paragraphs:

“(4) The following fees shall be payable in respect of the matters corresponding thereto:

(a) issuing a subsidiary certificate of title or subsidiary strata certificate of title

(b) registration of a strata title plan

(c) notification of termination of strata subdivision of a subdivided building shown on a strata title plan and memorial of the vesting of the parcel under section 78 or 81 of the Act, including notification of an order of court made under section 77 of the Act, and the cancellation of the relevant record of the subsidiary strata land-register under section 80(2) or 81(9) of the Act

(d) lodging an application for the cancellation of the Registrar’s caution entered in the records maintained by the Registrar under section 31(3) of the Act

(e) filing an application (including the examination by the Registrar of the title to the land affected and the subsisting leasehold titles) under —

$135.30

(i) section 125(1) of the Act

(ii) section 126 of the Act

(iii) section 127(1) of the Act

(f) filing a document or an instrument (including a duplicate certificate of title), or any registration or notification on a strata title plan, for which a fee is not prescribed and which is not exempted under rule 57 of the Land Titles Rules (Cap. 157, R 1)

(5) The fees referred to in paragraph (4) are inclusive of any goods and services tax chargeable under the Goods and Services Tax Act (Cap. 117A) on the matters in respect of which the fees are payable.”.
