COVID-19 (Temporary Measures)
(Control Order) (Amendment No. 10)
Regulations 2021
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 34(1) of the COVID‑19 (Temporary Measures) Act 2020, the Minister for Health makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations are the COVID‑19 (Temporary Measures) (Control Order) (Amendment No. 10) Regulations 2021 and come into operation on 14 June 2021.
Miscellaneous amendment on cohort size
2.  The COVID‑19 (Temporary Measures) (Control Order) Regulations 2020 (G.N. No. S 254/2020) (called in these Regulations the principal Regulations) are amended by deleting “2” wherever it appears in the following provisions and substituting in each case “5”:
 Regulation 4(4)(a)
 Regulation 6(1)(c)(ii)
 Regulation 7A(2A)(b)(ii) and (f)(ii) and (iii)
 Regulation 10AA(1)(f)(ii) and (iii)
 Regulation 10B(1)(k)(i)
 Regulation 12(1)(a)(ii)
 Regulation 13F(3)(e)(ii)(A).
Amendment of regulation 10A
3.  Regulation 10A(3) of the principal Regulations is amended by deleting “16” and substituting “10”.
Amendment of First Schedule
4.—(1)  Part 2 of the First Schedule to the principal Regulations is amended by deleting “2” wherever it appears in paragraph 2(1) and (2)(a) and substituting in each case “5”.
(2)  Part 4 of the First Schedule to the principal Regulations is amended —
(a)by deleting “2” in paragraph 1(1)(b)(i) and substituting “5”; and
(b)by deleting paragraph 4 and substituting the following paragraph:
4.  A permitted enterprise that carries on, in the course of business, a business of providing any personal appearance service or personal care service at its permitted premises must not sell or supply, or cause or allow to be sold or supplied, any food or drink at its permitted premises for consumption by any customer, visitor or permitted enterprise worker at those premises during the conduct of its business.”.
(3)  Part 7 of the First Schedule to the principal Regulations is amended by deleting “2” in paragraph 3(b) and substituting “5”.
Amendment of Third Schedule
5.  The Third Schedule to the principal Regulations is amended —
(a)by deleting the words “98 guests” in the second column (titled “Maximum number of individuals”) of item 1(a) and substituting the words “248 guests”;
(b)by deleting item 2 and substituting the following item:
2.A gathering for a solemnization of a marriage in a room or place within any place of residence, but not on board any vessel.
The total of the following at any time during the solemnization:
(a)the higher of the following:
(i)8 guests of the solemnization (who may or may not be ordinarily resident in that place of residence) and the parties to the marriage;
(ii)5 individuals who are not ordinarily resident in that place of residence (who may include any party to the marriage) and any other individuals ordinarily resident in that place;
(b)any celebrant by whom the marriage is or is to be solemnized;
(c)any permitted enterprise (and its permitted enterprise workers) engaged in providing authorised services for arrangements made in connection with the solemnization.
”; and
(c)by deleting “2” in the second column (titled “Maximum number of individuals”) of items 10(a), 12(b) and 13 and substituting in each case “5”.
