THE Central Provident Fund (MediShield Scheme — Exemption) Notification 1995

In exercise of the powers conferred by regulation 3 (f) of the Central Provident Fund (MediShield Scheme) Regulations 1995, the Minister for Labour hereby makes the following Notification:

1. This Notification may be cited as the Central Provident Fund (MediShield Scheme — Exemption) Notification 1995 and shall come into operation on 1st September 1995.

2. Any member —

(a)	who has made voluntary contributions to the Fund or has received cash grants from the Government under section 14 of the Act; and
(b)	who was not insured under the MediShield Scheme established under section 53 of the Act immediately before the voluntary contribution to the Fund or the grant by the Government was made,

shall be exempted from the Scheme.
