Sewerage and Drainage (Sanitary Works) (Amendment) Regulations 2002

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 74 of the Sewerage and Drainage Act, the Public Utilities Board, with the approval of the Minister for the Environment, hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Sewerage and Drainage (Sanitary Works) (Amendment) Regulations 2002 and shall come into operation on 1st August 2002.

Amendment of regulation 3

2. Regulation 3 of the Sewerage and Drainage (Sanitary Works) Regulations (Rg 2) (referred to in these Regulations as the principal Regulations) is amended by inserting, immediately after the word “with” in the 1st line, the words “the Code of Practice and”.

Deletion of regulations 7 to 13 and 15

3. Regulations 7 to 13 and 15 of the principal Regulations are deleted.

Deletion of Schedule

4. The Schedule to the principal Regulations is deleted.
