Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 21) Notification 2009

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation

1. This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 21) Notification 2009.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister hereby exempts Singapore Recreation Club from the provisions of the Act in respect of the “3rd SRC Charity Line Dance” promotion from 20th August 2009 to 18th October 2009 (both dates inclusive) and the draw on 18th October 2009.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by Singapore Recreation Club with the conditions stated in the letter of approval dated 18th August 2009.
