Arms and Explosives (Arms)
(Amendment) Rules 1997

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 40(1) of the Arms and Explosives Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Arms and Explosives (Arms) (Amendment) Rules 1997 and shall come into operation on 1st October 1997.

Amendment of rule 27

2. Rule 27(1) of the Arms and Explosives (Arms) Rules (R 1) is amended —

(a)	by deleting “$15” in sub-paragraph (d) and substituting “$17”; and
(b)	by deleting “$14” in sub-paragraph (e) and substituting “$16”.
