Boundaries and Survey Maps (Singapore Land Authority Fees) (Amendment) Rules 2008

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 17(2)(a) of the Boundaries and Survey Maps Act, the Singapore Land Authority, with the approval of the Minister for Law, hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Boundaries and Survey Maps (Singapore Land Authority Fees) (Amendment) Rules 2008 and shall come into operation on 1st August 2008.

Deletion and substitution of rule 4

2. Rule 4 of the Boundaries and Survey Maps (Singapore Land Authority Fees) Rules (R 6) is deleted and the following rule substituted therefor:

“Fees for queries, resubmission or rectification

4. The fees specified in items (5) and (6) in the Schedule —

(a)	shall be paid by the registered surveyor on the requisition of the Chief Surveyor; and
(b)	shall not be recovered from or paid by the party represented by the registered surveyor.”.

Amendment of Schedule

3. The Schedule to the Boundaries and Survey Maps (Singapore Land Authority Fees) Rules is amended by inserting, immediately after item (5), the following item:

“

Resubmission or rectification

(6)(a)

For first and each subsequent resubmission of —

$214 per resubmission

(i)	any survey plan, survey record or document; or

(ii)	any application for allocation of lot numbers

(b)	For rectification of any error on any approved survey plan, survey record or document in respect of a cadastral survey carried out by a registered surveyor

$214 per cadastral survey

”.
