Infectious Diseases (Infected Areas)
(Amendment) Notification 2016

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 26(1) of the Infectious Diseases Act, the Minister for Health makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification is the Infectious Diseases (Infected Areas) (Amendment) Notification 2016 and comes into operation on 26 January 2016.

Amendment of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Infectious Diseases (Infected Areas) Notification 2004 (G.N. No. S 328/2004) is amended —

(a)

by deleting the words “French Guyana” wherever they appear in item 19 and substituting in each case the words “French Guiana (formerly known as French Guyana)”; and

(b)

by inserting, immediately after item 42, the following item:

“43.

South Sudan

Yellow Fever”.
